SYNOPSIS
Mai 1941. Après
le raid de Doolittle, le Japon vise à étendre son territoire dans le
Pacifique, pour rendre de tels raids moins probables. Leur prochaine cible : l'île de Midway. Cependant, la marine américaine intercepte leurs messages
et a partiellement déchiffré leur code de cryptage, les avertissant des
intentions du Japon. Deux groupes de travail de porte-avions américains
sont envoyés à Midway, ce qui donne lieu à l'une des batailles les plus
importantes de l'histoire.
